"If you're good at something, why do it for free?" you should stat charging for your photos as they're brilliant.
I personally don’t think my photos are up to scratch to be charging people for them, the gig shots anyway. I did say that I wanted to charge to pay off my equipment but I decided against it as like I said, I feel my photos are not “money making material”. (Thank you to the person who sent me this though, means a lot that you think I have talent)
hey, it's kind of silly, but make sure you are at soundwave incredibly early. By putting a full image of your ticket online, it is very easy for anyone to make an e-ticket copy and use it for themselves, making your ticket invalid. I don't mean to be rude, but i just don't want you to have payed for a ticket and have it stolen. I hope you have a lovely day. :)
Oh! Thank you! I’ll be going as soon as my plane lands in Sydney anyway which is 7am so I’ll be pretty early.
Hey :) I love your photos - you always seem to get a really good vantage point at concerts. I love taking photos at concerts, but I'm always freaked out that my SLR will get damaged - usually by water haha - so I just stick with my little digi and hope for the best. Anyway, I really like your photos - keep it up!
I really do have amazing luck at were I am at a concert. I’ve always been barrier or second row. Depending on what concert it is, like who’s playing, I tend to evaluate if I take it. Recently, I went to Simple Plan and because I’ve never seen them, I asked my friend if I should take it. I did, but didn’t feel safe enough once in the crowd so I put it on barrier. I got water on my SLR at one Short Stack show; Andy spat right on me, haha. They’re pretty tough, but not invincible.
you said that a canon eso 1000d or a nikon d3000 were best for beginners. Do you mean best for people using a DSLR for the first time or beginners to photography in general? And which of the cameras that you mentioned do you prefer?
They are best for your first SLR, and I’m sure during your life you have used a digital camera, so you have some sort of concept on what photography is. So, from there, a beginners DSLR is a good step. Out o those, I prefer Canon, so I’d go with a Canon EOS 1000D as that was my beginner camera model.
